Regieleki is the fastest Pokemon in the metagame, with Ninjask requiring a Choice Scarf to outspeed it. Its lack of coverage moves hinders its role as a sweepr a bit, but information technology has a place in teams that need a fast special sweeper that can fire off additional Electrical-type moves.

Afterward setting upwards a wall on the first plough, it tin can switch into an attack role. It tin usually win in a straight-up ball with opponents who take neutral damage from Electric, making it a wall setter with high offensive potential.

Reflect and Light Screen serve as the bread and butter of this set. Thanks to Regieleki'southward phenomenal speed, these are the fastest walls that can exist put up that aren't from Prankster.

Regieleki's signature move Thunder Muzzle deals damage and prevents the opponent from switching out. It also deals additional damage at the end of each turn for the side by side 4 or five turns. This is a great movement that makes sure you can control the pace of the game.

In the result that you end up in an unfavorable matchup, Volt Switch gives y'all the opportunity to turn the tides.

Max Special Attack investment is required to let Regieleki to deal as much power as it tin can get, while 172 Def EVs allow Regieleki to survive an Earthquake from Landorus with 252 Atk EVs when Reverberate is gear up up.

The rest of the speed investment is enough to outspeed faster ground types, notably Garchomp with Choice Scarf.

Regieleki'due south Transistor Power boosts the power of its Electric-type moves past 50%, allowing it to threaten opposing Pokemon with powerful STAB moves.

Calorie-free Clay extends the duration of Reverberate and Low-cal Screen letting it terminal for 8 turns instead of v.

Explosion Allows it to relieve turns remaining on its walls past ejecting itself from the battle. An effective option for when you lot're non because re-setting the walls in your strategy.

This build puts everything in Speed and Special Assail and pushes Regieleki to its limits as an aggressor. Transistor combines with a damage-boosting item to stupor the pants off anything in its path, and with max EVs putting the pedal to the medal on Speed, information technology can even outspeed Pokemon with a base 100 Speed and one Speed stage heave from the first.

Thunderbolt serves as Regieleki'south chief STAB move. It gets boosts from Transistor besides which lets it deal a stronger punch than usual.

Aboriginal Power is a Stone-type coverage movement that may increase all of Regieleki'due south stats, while Volt Switch gives you lot an option to switch out of unfavorable matchups.

Hyper Beam tin round out the concluding slot, whereas information technology may non provide type advantages against enemies, it has some utility when used as Max Strike to lower the opponent's speed.

We're using a straightforward special attacking EV spread with total investment in Special Set on and Speed. The remaining EVs are placed in Special Defence to heave its majority.

Choice Specs gives a l% Sp.Atk boost to the user simply locks them to simply use one move for the time they're on the field. Since Regieleki's movepool isn't so broad anyway, it tin hands do good from this item.

Life Orb gives Regieleki a 1.3x boost to the power of its moves at the expense of 10% of Regieleki'due south HP. This allows Regieleki the freedom of choice, but at less ability and at the cost of it's health.

Rising Voltage Doubles in power when in Electric Terrain, then pairs well when you expect to Dynamax.
Farthermost Speed For when y'all expect to be countered with a priority move.
Electro Ball A viable move only confronting slow opponents, equally Electro Ball's damage depends on how fast Regieleki is compared to its target.

・Rising Voltage
・Volt Switch

Equally one of the fastest back up leads in the Doubles boxing format, Regieleki has a niche in the electric current metagame providing anarchistic speed back up with Electroweb.

Electroweb is Regieleki'south principal support move and is a multi-target movement that lowers the opponent'due south Speed stat by 1 stage. Protect allows it to scout moves and prevent it from taking damage from its partner'southward multi-target moves such as Surf or Earthquake.

Rising Voltage is its main attacking move, and becomes a 140 Base Power motility when Electric Terrain is present. Regieleki's terminal move is Volt Switch and allows it to quickly pivot from the battle to some other Pokemon if it encounters a cheque or counter.

We're using a standard Speed spread with full investment in Speed and Special Attack and so that Regieleki tin hitting hard and as fast as possible, with the remaining 4 EVs invested in Special Defense.

Every bit speed command is more than prevelant in Doubles, Regieleki needs all the Speed information technology tin get to ensure information technology can use Electroweb at to the lowest degree in one case.

Regieleki'southward Transistor Power boosts the power of its Electric-blazon moves by l%, allowing information technology to threaten opposing Pokemon with powerful STAB moves.

As this Regieleki doesn't use any coverage moves, Magnet is the preferred held item to heave the power of its Electric-type moves past 20%. Coupled with its Transistor Ability, Regieleki's Electric-type moves tin can severly impairment Pokemon that don't resist its STAB moves.

Focus Sash is a practiced culling and allows Regieleki to survive an otherwise fatal hit and use Electroweb again.

Thunderbolt A unmarried-target Electrical-type motility that provides more consistent damage over Rising Voltage, and is very useful if it's not possible to set up Electric Terrain.
Thunder A stronger, single-target Electric-type movement that is best used in dedicated Rain teams so that it gets perfect accurateness.
Thunder Muzzle Another expert alternative to Rising Voltage. Though weaker, it allows Regieleki to trap opposing Pokemon and deal residual impairment up to 5 turns.

Regieleki is the fastest Option Specs sweeper in the metagame, capable of outspeeding even Choice Scarf Pokemon with a Small-scale Nature. Despite this, its shallow movepool holds it back from dominating the metagame and it has to solely rely on Electric-type moves.

Even with its shallow movepool though, Regieleki should not be underestimated. Its Transistor Power boosts the ability of its Electric type moves and, with a Selection Specs boost, information technology can heavily damage or fifty-fifty knock out Pokemon that don't resist or are immune to its STAB.

Its speed is especially useful when you lot consider that you tin can take downward enemy threats who rely on boosting their speed to get alee, such as Charizard or Gyarados.

Regieleki's loftier speed allow information technology to build walls in the confront of offensive threats. By reading the opponent'due south intentions, Regieleki tin easily set the appropriate wall, and so keep to take the enemy out, trap them in, or switch into a favorable friction match-up.

Many of the threats running effectually the metagame take Electrical-type weaknesses that Regieleki can exploit. Some notable ones include Yveltal, Kyogre, Lugia, and Ho-Oh.

Regieleki's shallow movepool holds it back as a sweeper in Singles, and it constantly needs to switch out if it faces a resist. In Doubles, it has a niche equally the fastest Rising Voltage sweeper - so long equally it's partnered with a Pokemon that can instantly set Electric Terrain.

To use Regieleki effectively, it needs to be partnered with Pokemon that can provide it some coverage with its moves on summit of providing Electric Terrain Support.
